Jay Black Concert

In what has become a semi-annual event, hubby and I went to the Jay Black concert in Westbury last night. Here's a pic of him with his son, Beau.

It was a typical Jay concert. Lots of good music. Lots of politically incorrect jokes. Lots of profanity. The opening act was singer Len (I think) Leeds, Jay's lawyer who got him the rights to his name back. Yes, a singing lawyer. He wasn't bad, but his singing put me in mind of a lounge/wedding act.

  2. Jay Black is the Jay of Jay and the Americans, a group that performed mostly in the '60s, and into the '70s. So we're talking mostly oldies. And he's about as politically incorrect as you can get, plus he says the F word a lot. He's 68 and probably 2 or 3 times the size he was when he was in his 20s.
