New York Comic Con

I spent the last two afternoons at the geek frenzy known as NYCC. I mostly hung out in Artists Alley, chatting with comic book artists I admire, then walking around taking pics of cosplayers, folks who dress up in costume. Here are some of the photos.

Today was the start of NY Comic Con. And to my surprise, Baconery had a booth, selling bacon plush toys, socks, tee-shirts, and maple bacon lollipops! I sampled a lollipop and it was most yummy, maple with bits of bacon inside.

Another Year Another New York Comicon

If it's October, it must be time for New York Comicon, or NYCC as it's known. I spent Thursday through Saturday at the Javits Center, enjoying the craziness and fun. I mostly take photos and chat with comic book artists. This year, my legs were aching so much by Saturday night that I didn't go on Sunday.

What I Did on Friday

NY ComicCon is one of my favorite times of year. Today, I mostly hung out with friends I met through flickr, walking around the Dealers' Room, taking pictures, and visiting the toy vendors.
