I ranted a bit over on Occasional Blog about a blogging controversy that involves popularity, rankings, and blogrolls. And I found out about the controvery on Scribbling Woman, a blog I read regularly.
A new find: Surfilicious, a websurfing blog I found via Blog Explosion.
Trevor Little is a nice photoblog I've added to my blogroll.
Miss Information is a library blog I've been enjoying for the last couple of months.
Yet Another Comics Blog has some nice surveys and finds things a bit off the beaten track.
Get Your Goth Name on this generator.
Some sites I've added to the links on ImPRESS Books:
World Time Zones
HTML Goodies, with tutorials.

ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of bang for the blog! Thanks for all the cool stuff:-) What'd ya do, save it up?
Yeah, pretty much. I hadn't realized how many things I'd tucked into my favs for just this reason.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm hijacking the thread (sorry) to let you know that Keith Szarabajka (and yes, I can type that properly without looking it up *grin*) is on "24" on Monday night. He was also in the 1:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. episode this season, if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteA.
I'm always interested in Keith Szarabajka news. Thanks. :) And I'm sure it says something about me that I can type his name without looking it up.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it says we both respect the actor, since we do him the courtesy of remembering/memorizing the spelling of his last name. Man, it bugs when I see him mentioned, yet whoever is talking about him can't be bothered to look up the spelling or remember it. It's not *that* difficult.
Robert Joy's on "Medium" at 10:00 p.m. on NBC, if you want to see him, too. I'm looking forward to the double-header. :)

Again, thanks for the alert. I like Robert Joy, too. I met both him and Keith S. when they were in the play here in NYC, "Hyde in Hollywood." Both were very nice to me.
ReplyDelete*waits with bated breath for all the details*
ReplyDeleteThat must have not only made your night, but your decade, if not century! *grin*
Tell all! Please!! :)

I hung around after the show and got to speak to both and got their autographs. I also got them to agree to phone interviews for a little fan publication, which was very nice. I spent about a half hour on the phone with each of them.
ReplyDeleteA few years later, Keith S. was in a show called "Search & Destroy," and a friend and I went to see it. I left a note with someone telling Keith I was there and would love to see him after the show. He came out after and spoke with my friend and me (we took pics and I have a few with me and Keith). He had his girlfriend, who he later married, with him. She was very gracious about the whole thing. Keith is 6 months older than I am, which always made me feel a bit of an equal to him, even if he's on TV and I'm, well, not. :)
