I had a Belgian waffle for lunch: a Brussels Waffel from the Waffel Truck, Wafels and Dinges. It's the crispy kind of Belgian waffle that they introduced at the NY World's Fair back in the mid-'60s. I had it topped with cinnamon and powdered sugar since I'm still being careful with what I eat. But it was so yummy, and so nice to not have either a turkey sandwich or a buttered bagel for lunch. I love both, but was craving something different.
Then, my gastroenterologist called and said I could start eating other food groups! So, I had a slice of toast with American cheese for dinner. Ah, so good.
Feeling: happy
