Had my annual checkup with my endocrinologist. Blood tests back on Monday. Mostly, he's checking my thyroid levels. So I weighed myself on the scale there and it matched the one at the gym, which meant I had lost nearly 3 pounds since January. Cool. But then the doctor has his nurse run a body fat test on me. And the machine also does weight. And it's a more sensitive reading. And suddenly, I'm 2 pounds heavier. That is so not fair. It means I was heavier in Janurary than I thought, too. And finally, the body fat percentage sucked. I resisted the urge to drown my misery in chocolate.
