Have you noticed how there aren't a lot of avatar parts that correspond to how we really appear?
Where's the hairy ears? The mole on the chin with a long hair sticking out? Those bushy, untamed eyebrows many men have? Gray hair? Wrinkles? Cankles? One sock drooping? One bra strap constantly falling off the shoulder?
Your banner is making me hungry. I haven't done the avatar thing yet. I only knew what it was a few months ago. Proof I'm getting old. As if I needed more proof!

Well, they are geared for the younger folks out there. But my Second Life avatar is a bit on the plumpish side and hardly idealized.
