I've been trying to not blog much about sports here, but this article about a
female umpire in Double A ball (second highest rung on the minor leagues ladder) who will be on the crew for Thursday's major league exhibition game is worthy of mention. I hope she makes it into Triple A ball and is picked for the majors after that.
As for me, I was really dragging today. It cooled down a bit, but was still nice today. I wish I'd had more energy to enjoy it, but I did manage the walk to the comic shop on lunch hour to pick up my weekly batch of comics.
