Mal, Spike, Dinah, and I are now in south New Jersey. Today, we enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage on a nice, sunny day. Right after I took this pic, I slammed a sliding van door on my right index finger. Ouch, indeed. It's not broken -- I wouldn't be able to bend it without screaming in agony if it was -- but I have a nasty cut across one knuckle and it's black and blue (not the nail, tho) and swollen. Have I ever mentioned that I'm a clutz? But I've never slammed a car door on any of my fingers or other appendages before. First time for everything, I guess.
