Meaningless Post of the Day

Or, an MPotD.

Work this week has been... rather annoying. Busy reference phonework, unusual for the last week of August. Troubleshooting problems that keep coming up. *sigh* So I thought I'd just post off the top of my head here and you can ignore the ramblings if you choose.

Food I ate as a kid but don't like now: Tomatoes, Peaches, Plums
Food I hated as a kid but love now: Peas, Broccoli, Cauliflower
Food I've always loved: Chocolate, Cheese, Carrots, Corn

Blogger has confirmed there's a problem for us beta folks to comment on non-beta Blogger blogs unless it's anonymously, and not everyone allows that. So, either I create another Blogger account for commenting, which is the workaround, or I opt for the actual solution and wait for everyone to be on beta which will be the only version of Blogger by then. Since I don't want yet another account and login, since my original Blogger account is now gone, I'm waiting for everyone to be using the same version of Blogger.

Someone's bidding against me for a dollhouse miniature cabinet. Nothing gets my competitive nature in a snit than someone bidding against me. I do have and know my limits, but they are a bit flexible.

Watching the Mets sure is fun this year. Right now, they're beating up on the Colorado Rockies.

Nothing beats AOL's message boards for sheer entertaining lunacy.

Watching old episodes of The Man from UNCLE, I can't help wondering how our heroes would've fared if they'd come up against competent bad guys.

Well, I got outbid, damn it, and I bid a few more times, but I do have my limits. Ah well. See, I can control my impulses. ;) Still, it was a nice, vintage piece and it was hard to pass on.
