The Blogger folks looked kindly upon me and a mere 2 days after I started a new blog on my Google account, I got the beta Blogger button on my Blogger dashboard and have now merged my accounts to beta. It's worth it just to no longer need to Republish after making changes to the template. Although the new beta blogs don't have raw template editing yet, any older ones you move over will, or so all mine did. I don't know if that's because I've customized them all. At any rate, I'm one happy camper.
I don't see categories, or labels as they call them here. Might have to investigate further, though I'm not sure I want to add a list of them to the sidebar, anyway. It's crowded enough there.
Now if only I can figure out what the hell is the matter with my left leg. I seem to have pulled a muscle or something.
