Tuesday: A Monday By Any Other Name

Today started with subway delays and there were still train screw-ups on the way home. I can't help wondering if it's because the UN General Assembly is meeting and Bush is in town. There was more of the usual nonsense, three of the public access PCs lost their adaptive software (JAWS screen reader), and I'm still waiting for our IT person to come find out what happened to my MS Office.

The weather, however, was lovely, and my boss -- who is as much a friend as my supervisor -- and I found a great hamburger place a few avenues over, called BetterBurger. It's a take-out kind of place with counters and stools and some chairs, tables, and booths, fairly small, but with yummy burgers, nice and juicy and very healthy -- the meat is antibiotic, hormone, and nitrate free. The fries are organic and tasty, but not as good as MacDonald's and our other fav place to eat, which is a fancy diner.

From their take-out menu: "Our buns are not only cute, they're all natural too." You've gotta love a place like that.

I intended to put links on Cyber Chocolate, Jr. but I think I'll mostly put them here, now, and reserve that blog mostly for meme participation. I found the link for this cute site, Harold's Planet, on Catalogue Blog.

I can't believe I actually did this, but I added a WeatherPixie here. It's something too cute for me, and I am usually able to resist cute, but they're also fun and I want this blog to be fun, so Cyber Chocolate now has a WeatherPixie. I think she looks cute sophisticated and informative. She's in the sidebar, near the bottom, under the Moon Phases.
