Will You Forgive My Absence If I Show You Chocolate?


I've been in a pre-retirement funk. Counting down the days. One month to go.

So, here's a waffle from Wafels & Dinges with dark Belgian chocolate drizzled over it, then sprinkled with puffy white sugar to make up for my lack of posts lately.

    We all take blogging breaks now and then. Besides you leave us all such chocolicious treats with all these fantastic pics/posts and a vast array of blogs to read. You entertain us so! You deserve a break. :)

    One more month? Wow, congrats Shelly. Such an accomplishment! Hope you feel better this week.

    Aw, thanks, Lady B. I'm old enough to retire and I put in enough years and am old enough to collect my pension (I just needed to be over 55). I just can't collect Social Security for a number of years yet. I'm sorry you can't retire yet. I can't think of anything I've looked forward to more.
