Cool Utensils

I got these at Eddie Bauer today, along with a couple of sweaters and 4 pairs of socks. Aren't they nifty? They were in a tray at the registers, but I don't see them on the website. But I love them. I have no idea what they're called, though. A spoon/fork/knife combo should/must have a nifty name to match the elegance of this design.

Cheaper than a therapist, perhaps, but not nearly as useful.

Summer can be a slow blogging time. So, if I hadn't needed something to blog about, i wouldn't have posted this because, really, it's off the mark by a mile and then some. The pictures to choose from weren't all that different, but the only one with bookshelves had furniture I didn't like. So I picked the pic with the fireplace and furniture I liked because it looked cozy. But ideally, a comfy leather sofa and matching chairs, old-fashioned fireplace, carpet or rugs, antique wood table, and lots of bookshelves would do it for me.

I'd Rather Be Reading

Been feeling like crap lately. I don't handle heat and humidity well and it might be time to call my doctor.

Been too tired to blog much. Or do much of anything. Even the FB games have lost some luster this week. But one thing did keep my interest, almost to obsession: Stieg Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I don't have the best of luck reading highly praised, major bestsellers, but this one lived up to the hype. I just started the sequel: The Girl Who Played with Fire. So far, so good.

Chocolate Contest

Ghiradelli wants help in picking their next Intense Dark Chocolate. I was remiss in getting info up when they were choosing finalists, but you can vote until September 20, 2010. I'm a bit confused as to how you would do this, not being able to taste test as far as I can tell. You can read the ingredients/brief description and that's pretty much it. And it looks like all contain nuts and/or other ingredients I don't like. :(
