One of those Days

One of those days best forgotten. Horrible rainstorm this morning, which flooded subways, knocking out subway service. Fortunately, they restored service on my subway line just when I was leaving work. I was on the train when there was an explosion on Lexington Avenue by Grand Central Station, spewing steam and muddy water high in the air. On TV, it looked like a volcanic eruption. Unfortunately, there's been one death and a number of injuries, mainly burns from the steam.

Just another day in the Big, Wet Apple.
