I took this photo in the early-'90s and played with it a bit in Photoshop last year.
With all the uncertainty and terror in the world, the inequities, the suffering, it's nice to be reminded that we in the US have a lot to be grateful for. Our democracy has endured for well over 200 years and counting, and today, we celebrate!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to do the laundry. ;)
