Notes on a Dreary Tuesday Back at Work

For starters, throwing an offhand "Sorry" out the window of your car, Mr. Driver who backed around a corner into a crosswalk against the light and cut me off from crossing, that didn't in any way sound sincere, is not considered an actual apology by yours truly and perhaps most civilized humans. I'm sure it was also some sort of moving violation, too. Fortunately, I caught sight of this ridiculous maneuver before he got too far, so I knew better than to try crossing and get my feet run over or worse.

Cool outside means A/C was pumped up high on the subway. Fortunately, I'd thought to bring a sweatshirt instead of the usual long-sleeved cotton shirt I wear in A/C in the summer.

Rain's coming in this afternoon and now, at lunchtime, it's already gray and threatening out. Perfect for back to work after a whole 3 days off, huh.

So, I was thinking about asking the person who designed the template here for help to move code over so I can upgrade to the beta format, so of course, as my luck remains consistently poor, Blog-Togs has been shut down. So, either I try to figure out the css by myself, try to copy and paste into a test blog to see if that will work, or find someone to do a new design for me as soon as I can find someone whose work I like who is familiar enough with this new template format. I don't need to upgrade the template because I don't know that I really need categories here, but it would be nice to get all my blogs in the same format. Less confusing that way.

Work is, well, work. This is statistics and reports week, as happens every first week of a month. Oh, the joy.
