Another Boffo Questionnaire

Got this from Cat.

1. Have you ever been searched by the cops?
No. When I see them at the subway to do random bag checks, I kinda hope they pick me so I can blog about it, but they're mostly looking at backpacks, which I don't carry.

2. Do you close your eyes on roller coasters?
I haven't been on one for 15 years or so. I think I used to close my eyes most of the time.

3. When's the last time you've been sledding?
When I was 11 or 12, I guess.

4. Would you rather sleep with someone else, or alone?
Depends on the snore level and if they move around a lot.

5. Do you believe in ghosts?
No.

6. Do you consider yourself creative?
Yes.

7. Do you think O.J. killed his wife?
D'uh. Yes.

8. Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie?
Neither, really. I admire Jolie's social involvement. But I think they both are rather self-absorbed. If I were the kind of woman who was interested in other women, I'd go for someone brunette, who uses her brain more.

9. Do you stay friends with your exes?
I don't have any exes.

10. Do you know how to play poker?
I know the rules, but I never really played. Rummy, gin rummy, and canasta were my card games when I was growing up. I loved canasta.

11. Have you ever been awake for 48 hours straight?
Probably close to it, about 20 years ago, at a science fiction con. I stayed up all night talking with a friend and didn't get to bed til that next night. At least 36 hours, maybe 40.

12. What's your favorite commercial?
I'm quite fond of the Aflac commercials, tho the Geico Gekko is pretty cute.

13. What are you allergic to?
Perfume, flowers, smoke, dust, molds, spores, pollen mostly.

14. If you're driving in the middle of the night, and no one is around do you run red lights?
I don't drive. If I did, I'd obey all traffic laws.

15. Do you have a secret that no one knows but you?
Well, I'm not gonna tell anyone if I do.

16. Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees?
Neither. Mets all the way.

17. Have you ever been Ice Skating?
Not for at least 15 years. I used to do it a lot when I was a kid. We'd go a weekend or two every winter to Bear Mountain. I'd fall a lot. My balance isn't great.

18. How often do you remember your dreams?
Quite often if we're counting just the first few minutes after I wake up. Longer than that? Rarely.

19. When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?
Probably while watching Letterman. He always cracks me up.

20. Can you name 5 songs by The Beatles?
Just 5? Help. A Hard Day's Night. Please Please Me. I Wanna Hold Your Hand. Eight Days a Week. Love Me Do (for good measure. heh)

21. What's the one thing on your mind now?
I'm with Cat on this. Sleep. And selling stuff on eBay. Cuz I'm getting a bit obsessed.

22. Do you know who Ghetto-ass barbie is?
Uh, beats me.

23. Do you always wear your seat belt?
If I'm in a car, yes.

24. What cell service do you use?
Verizon.

25. Do you like sushi?
No. Not at all.

26. Have you ever narrowly avoided a fatal accident?
Yes. Well, it might've been fatal. Our cars never actually touched because my father had great reflexes. Still does, but at 80, they're not quite that good, anymore. But that was before manditory seatbelts in cars, so none of us were strapped in.

27. What do you wear to bed?
Tee-shirt, usually, and panties.

28. Been caught stealing?
Stole once, told my mother (I was 12), she sent me back to the store, I told the woman at the counter and returned the memo pad. She asked me if I wanted to pay for it, but I said no and left. End of story.

29. What shoe size do you have?
My foot is really 7 1/2 but I wear an 8 because I like the bit of extra room. The toes on my left foot prefer the 8, too.

30. Do you truly hate anyone?
No. It's a hard emotion for me to hold onto. Hate, in me, fades to indifference fairly quickly.

31. Classic Rock or Rap?
I don't like rap. Classic rock, rock 'n' roll; either or both are the way to go.

32. If you could sleep with one famous person, who would it be?
Roy Dupuis (La Femme Nikita). *sigh* But I'd settle for Joe Flanigan (Stargate: Atlantis)

33. Favorite Song?
Don't have one. Or rather, I have too many. Dave Clark 5's "Because" was our wedding song, so I usually name that one.

34. Have you ever sang [sic] in front of the mirror?
No.

35. What food do you find disgusting?
A lot of seafood. Squid. Eel. Octopus.

36. Do you sing in the shower?
I used to. Now I mostly plot out stories I'm working on.

37. Did you ever play, "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours"?
No.

38. Have you ever made fun of your friends behind their back?
I'm sure I did when I was a kid, but I don't really remember.

39. Have you ever stood up for someone you hardly knew?
Yes.

40. Have you ever been punched in the face?
No, but a crazy library patron/book thief threatened to do that to me years ago.
