1. How old do you wish you were? I wouldn't mind being 30 again and move forward from that age, still knowing all I know now.
2. Where were you when 9/11 happened?I was already in my office and one of my staff came in and told me she saw a plane hit the WTC. We work about 35 blocks north of the site and had a nice view of the towers.
3. What do you do when vending machines steal your money? Curse, maybe try again, and if that fails, give up.
4. Do you consider yourself kind? Yes, mostly.
5. If you had to get a tattoo, where and what would it be? I wouldn't do anything permanent, but I've worn fake tattoos on my arms, of skulls and snakes and such. For real, maybe a vine wrapped around an ankle.
6. If you could be fluent in any other language what would it be? Just being fluent in another language would be enough of a miracle.
7. Do you know your neighbors? Enough to reconize their faces when I see them at the elevator.
8. What do you consider a vacation? Not being at work for more than 2 days.
9. Do you follow your horoscope? No, but I do have fun occasionally reading it.
10. Would you move for the person you loved? Probably not.
11. Are you touchy feely? With some people, I'll hug, but no, I wouldn't say I'm touchy feely.
12. Do you believe that opposites attract? Anything's possible.
13. Dream job? I don't know that it exists. I love my job but every job has something to hate about it.
14. Favorite channels? Don't have any, anymore. CBS and SciFi channel have the most shows I'm watching these days.
15. Favorite place to go on a weekend? Anywhere that isn't work.
16. Showers or Bath? Shower.
17. Do you paint your nails? When I'm not feeling lazy.
18. Do you trust people easily? Mostly. Folks usually have to prove they can't be trusted, but I also am a bit wary of new folks I meet. I call it NY paranoia.
19. What are your phobias? Creepy crawlies, creepy flying bugs.
20. Do you want kids? Might've been nice, but we ended up deciding not to have any.
21. Do you keep a handwritten journal? Used to, but gave it up a few years after college because I was rarely using it.
22. Where would you rather be right now? Nowhere special.
23. What makes you feel warm and safe? Cuddled in bed.
24. Heavy or light sleep? Depends these days. Sometimes heavy, sometimes light.
25. Are you paranoid? Not usually. Why? You heard something?
26. Are you impatient? More than I used to be on some things, pretty patient on other things.
27. Who can you relate to? I've never given that much thought. I either get along with folks or I don't and I don't think in terms of relating to them. I might do that on a subconscious level.
28. How do you feel about interracial couples? Geez, what is this, the '60s? Folks should be with who they want to be and it's no one else's business.
29. Have you been burned by love? No.
30. Whats your life motto? "When in doubt, eat chocolate."
31. What's your main ringtone on your mobile? Beats me. I picked something I figured I'd recognize on the rare occasion my cell phone is on and actually rings.
32. What were you doing at midnight last night? IMing best bud, checking eBay auctions, watching Letterman.
33. Who was your last text message from? I don't text message and never have.
34. Who's [sic] bed did you sleep in last night? Mine and hubby's.
35. What color shirt are you wearing? Black.
36. Most recent movie you watched? Hmmmm..... can't remember.
37. Name five things you have on you at all times? All times? Nothing except clothes. I even take my glasses off when I'm home. When I go out, I have my wallet, keys, glasses, tissues, and a bottle of water.
38. What color are your bed sheets? We have 5 sets, blues, blue and white stripes, some other colors.
39. How much cash do you have on you right now? None. My wallet's in the other room.
40. What is your favorite part of a chicken? White meat, so probably breast, tho I like the legs, too.
41. What's your favorite town/city? After NYC? San Francisco.
42. I can't wait till... I retire.
43. Who got you to join LiveJournal? No one. I just saw them and decided to try one.
44. What did you have for dinner last night? Uh, hmmm.... a frozen Smart Ones dinner, I think.
45. How tall are you barefoot? 5' 2 3/4".
46. Have you ever smoked crack? I haven't even smoked cigarettes.
47. Do you own a gun? No.
48. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Water, milk, hot chocolate, OJ.
49. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex? Hubby tells me I'm cute.
50. Do you have A.D.D.? This is an odd question. No.
51. What time did you wake up today? The usual 6:30 am, and I got out of bed the usual 7:00 am.
52. Current worry? Nothing in particular. Maybe when the latest terror attack will hit NYC and where.
53. Current hate? Longstanding peeve: idiots on the streets and driving in cars who don't pay attention to where they are.
54. Favorite place to be? Playing on the computer.
55. Where would you like to travel? I've been to Hawaii twice, so I'd like to go to Alaska at least once.
56. Where do you think you'll be in 10 yrs? Retired, still in NYC.
57. Last thing you ate? A Milano cookie for dessert.
58. What songs do you sing in the shower? None. I work out story plots.
59. Last person that made you laugh? David Letterman last night.
60. Worst injury you've ever had? I possibly broke a toe once.
61. Does someone have a crush on you? If so, it's a secret from me, too.
62. What is your favorite candy? M&Ms, Dark Chocolate Hershey Kisses, Candy Corn.
