Blinded by the Blinds

Did laundry from the trip. Did a bit of cleaning, but need to still do bathrooms and finish dusting. The Venetian blinds in the den falling on me when I was peeking through them to take pics of the nasty t-storm rolling in was a good excuse to drag them into my bathroom, shove them into the shower stall, and give them a nice washing. They're back up now, the left side taped up where the screw or whatever was lost. Now I need to do the blinds in the bathroom, the bedroom, and maybe the dining room.

Sorted through some things and will put the discards up on eBay. I have my first item up, a Barbie chaise, tables, and barbecue accessories from the '60s. Already have 2 bidders and 14 folks watching and there's still 6 days to go. Would love to do well with this so my selling can support my buying. I just ordered some charms for the Italian charm bracelet I've had for over a year and never used because it has only one charm thus far. It will be nice to get rid of stuff. What I'm buying takes up less room that what I plan to sell.

The rain was seriously nasty this afternoon and evening. Washed out some subway service. I've been skimming blogs, trying to catch up. Probably won't have time for much commenting until I have caught up. Which might be never because I've got a lot of projects lined up, including the eBay selling and getting back to my novel. But blogging is part of my life now, right up there, it seems, with breathing, eating, and sleeping.
