Keeping Score

From the fall TV schedules announced so far, I present my plus and minus based on new shows listed and old shows cancelled.

Cancelled Shows I'll Miss Deeply (the MINUS score)
-1 Invasion (I was so upset about this cancellation, I watched only enough tonight to see everyone but Mariel safe, then stopped before anyone I cared about got killed. Shawn Cassidy makes great shows no one watches that get quickly cancelled. *sigh*)
-1 Out of Practice (Probably one of the best casts on a comedy this season. Just watching Henry Winkler and Stockard Channing exchange barbs made the show worth watching, but everyone else on this show was excellent. All the pre-emptions and the sneaky move of the show from Monday to Wednesday didn't help.)

New Shows that Intrigue Me (the PLUS score)
+1 Heroes (I think I got the name right. It's a superhero type show. Might be worth watching.)

This gives me a final score, so far, of Minus 1. I think I'll be watching a lot of DVDs this fall, unless the Islanders play well. And there's always the SciFi channel shows running through the fall, too.
