Of Links and Things

This flickr slideshow has libraries/librarians as its theme. Some are wordy cartoons that are difficult to read fully at a glance and some are in languages other than English, but all are fun and you can click on her flickr page link and see them individually.

Wonder if a title has bestseller potential? Get it evaluated at this site.

Things I wouldn't think of doing: Shop with a phone stuck on my shoulder, yakking away; standing in a group in the middle of a sidewalk, yakking away. I'm starting to think half the people in this city are oblivious and the rest of us are in their way.

Had a yummy cheeseburger with Monterrey Jack cheese for lunch. The receipt called it a Jack Burger. For some reason, that tickled me. Would make a nice name for a character, perhaps a detective in a mystery series. "The name's Burger, Jack Burger. Some call me a ham, but I'm about the beef and nothing but the beef. You've got a beef, you come see me." Okay, so humor isn't really my thing.

Bloglines will be down tonight while they move the data center. That means serious blog withdrawal will occur tonight. Wah. I'll have to check my favs individually, by clicking links. How.... primitive.
