Had taken the day off, so ran some errands. Got my Amtrak tickets for the weekend — going to Philadelphia Miniaturia with best bud, J — and it's true. They really don't have more than a couple of unreserved trains anymore, and the one I saw for Thursday was way too early for me to make. So now I have a reserved ticket and better make the train it's for. And I don't know if I'll get to blog over the weekend, so if you don't see posts from me from Thursday to Monday night, that will be why.
Went to Macy's after and it looks like this is one of those years I mostly just buy shoes and pantyhose. I can't find sweater tops I like. They're either wool or some itchy acrylic, neither of which I can wear with my sensitive skin, or they're turtlenecks, which I haven't been able to wear since my teens. I can't be the only person who feels like she's choking in anything higher on the neck than a v-neck or scoop-neck top. I did get a cheap pair of warm-feeling gloves. They're made of chenille, the type of my very warm socks, so I'm hoping they'll be better than some of my other pairs. I have one pair in the pockets of each of my jackets and coats. And no, I'm not anal, just very organized.

Tres cool!I was surprised and pleased to discover that my husband wanted to decorate a dollhouse even before we had children. He loves miniature things, too. ALas, we were never able to indulge in that project due to finances, but maybe we can later in life. We have shows in our area I'd love to go to. HOpe 2006 makes that happen. Exciting for you to meet that woman! :)
