It's been a few weeks since I did a links post, so this is a bit overdue. We'll start with the Secret History of NYC's Washington Square Park, that might or might not include zombies. And speaking of zombies, I'm not a big fan of them, but I am enjoying the new CW show iZombie, based on the comic book.
More NYC fun with these maps of abandoned subway lines and stations.
This kid reciting the opening for The Flash TV show for the actors of the show is charming and priceless.
These 15 Old Computer Sounds will either be nostalgic or confusing, depending on your age.
I need this Baymax lamp. It's not available yet, but you can pre-order it.
And on the serious side:
- John Oliver took on the lack of rights of the citizens of US Territories.
- Then he took on the plight of student athletes in the NCAA.
- Jon Stewart takes on the hypocrisy of FOX News.
- Jeffrey Goldberg looked into the state of Jewry in Europe today, in The Atlantic.
